Board the boat from Murudeshwar beach and set sail for Netrani Island. The journey covers 18-20 kilometers (10 nautical miles) across the Arabian Sea. Depending on your operator, you'll travel via long-tail boat (1.5 hours) or speedboat (30-90 minutes). Welcome to Netrani Island - your first glimpse of the crystal-clear waters with visibility ranging from 15-30 meters. When is the best time to go diving?
The diving season runs from October to May when seas are calm and weather is favorable. The best visibility is typically from October to December, right after the monsoon. Diving operations are closed from June to September due to rough seas and heavy rainfall.
What marine life can I see at Netrani Island?
Netrani Island offers exceptional marine biodiversity. You'll commonly see vibrant coral
reefs, schools of colorful fish, parrotfish, triggerfish, and
groupers.
Exciting
encounters include barracudas, moray eels, stingrays, and sea turtles. On rare

What should I bring for the dive?
Pack swimwear, a towel, dry change of clothes, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat for the boat ride, and a waterproof bag for electronics. Bring a valid photo ID with address (Aadhaar, Driving License, or Passport) as it's legally required. A USB stick is helpful for collecting your free underwater photos and videos.
Do I need a medical certificate to dive?
All participants must complete a medical questionnaire. If you answer yes to any condition (asthma, heart problems, recent surgery, epilepsy, diabetes, etc.), you'll need a signed "fit to dive" certificate from a physician before diving. Download the form in advance to avoid last-minute issues.
How long is the entire diving experience?
It's a full-day adventure. You'll arrive at the dive center around 7:30-8:30 AM, take a scenic 1.5-hour boat ride to Netrani Island, complete your dive and enjoy unlimited snorkeling, then return to Murudeshwar by 4:30 PM. The actual underwater dive time varies from 10-45 minutes depending on your chosen package.
